Hi, This will be my daughter's first visit to Disneyland and it will be 3 wks after her 3rd b'day. I was wondering if at the time i buy the tickets shall i put her as 2 or 3 years and if there is anything special to be planned for her during our visit.

    Hello Heidi,

I'm so excited for your family to visit The Happiest Place on Earth. I remember the first visit for both of our kids and how my husband and I couldn't sleep the night before because we were so excited to share the magic with them!

Children ages 3 to 9 are required to have a Child Theme Park Admission Ticket to enter Disney Parks, so be prepared to purchase one for your princess. It would be fun to get her some special to commemorate her special day. Stop by Guest Services and get her a free 'First Visit' button to wear during your vacation; Cast Members that see her in the parks will be sure to send warm welcome wishes throughout your visit.

Being that she will be 3 years old, why not celebrate her recent birthday by booking a royal transformation at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located in Fantasyland near Sleeping Beauty Castle. Here she can have a regal makeover by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training. My daughter loved receiving a birthday sash from Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to wear during our October trip. Or you can visit Anna & Elsa's Boutique and book a magical transformation in this frosty salon. Guests can choose a happy snowman-inspired or an Arendelle princess type of makeover.

We always love to have some one-on-one time with Disney Characters; so we reserve a Character Dining Experience. You can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. You can call the Disney cake number at (714) 781-3463 to discuss your options. They will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date.

If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
