We want to get our daughter's first hair cut in Disney World. We're going March 14-19, 2010. Any suggestions on where to go and prices?

Hi Jill! I'm so glad you're planning for your daughter to have her first haircut at Walt Disney World -- my daughter got her first trim there and it was such a magical experience! The Harmony Barber Shop, just off of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom park, is the best spot for a first haircut. When my daughter went for hers, the kind barber entertained her with lots of stickers, gave her a cute style, and even sprinkled a little pixie dust on her! My daughter received a set of Mickey ears with "First Haircut" embroidered on the back, and a bit of her hair was packaged up for us along with some pixie dust.

First haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop cost $18. The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Haircuts are first come, first serve, so you may want to go early as the line can get long.

Hope you all have a wonderful time!
