Nancy! Congratulations on your daughter's first baby! I'm about to be a first time grandmom myself, and we recently spent a lot of time talking about how fun a Disney reveal would be.
Do the kids already know the gender, or do they plan on being surprised? If they already know, one of the best ideas we had was to have a pair of pink or blue baby mouse ears in a picture with the
Happily Ever After Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom in the background.
They could do a walk through the
Epcot Character Spot. Enlist the help of three of the characters by having them each hold a sign - one that says It's, another that says A, and the last that reveals the gender of their little one.
Use baby shoes, a baby outfit, or even a little girl's tiara as an accessory with
Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the background. You can find the baby outfits at quite a few of the shops throughout the parks and resorts.
Book a
Disney Fine Art Photography session, and they can do a mini portrait session where they do the reveal with balloons or a pink or blue stuffed Mickey or Minnie. This one checks two boxes at the same time, as your daughter can get some beautiful baby bump photos done.
Whether they know or not, enlist the help of the cast members, especially the
Disney's Photopass Photographers. It's a great way to capture this most magical of all memories!
