My daughters want to dress like princesses at Cinderella's Table, but not in official disney princess costumes. I was going to make them gowns, but I heard that wearing costumes other than official disney wear isn't allowed in the parks- true?

    Hi Elaine,

This is absolutely NOT true. There is no requirement that children's princess gowns be purchased at Walt Disney World. They don't even have to be official gowns at all. In fact, many of the most charming and special gowns I've seen in the parks are those that are hand made at home.

I love your idea to make dresses for your girls. I'm sure this will add an extra touch of magic to your trip.
