My daughter’s birthday is July 5th and my husbands is the day we are arriving July 9 . We are celebrating both birthday’s on the visit, so can my daughter get a button even though her actual birthday isn’t during the visit?

Hi there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and allowing us to assist you in planning you vacation!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort is a fantastic way to celebrate birthdays in a particularly magical way! One of the ways Walt Disney World Resort creates a bit of extra “pixie dust” for Guests celebrating a special occasion is by gifting complimentary Celebration Buttons. You’ll be very happy to know that you’re daughter can definitively receive a Celebration Button on any day besides her actual birthday! In fact, I’ve received a Celebration Button for my birthday as long as a month after my actual birthday date. Cast Members are more than happy to help Guests celebrate whatever special things are happening in their lives regardless of official dates.

Receiving a Celebration Button is extremely easy as well! If you are visiting any Walt Disney World parks or Disney Springs, you can receive one of these Celebration Buttons by stopping by Guest Services. If you would rather grab a Celebration Button at your Disney Resort hotel, you can drop in at the front desk as soon as you arrive. Also, don’t forget these buttons can be customized with your daughter’s and husband’s names! That way, Cast Members can wish both of them a Happy Birthday personally!

Have fun continuing to plan for your family’s birthday getaway! Just let us know if we can help you with planning any other part of your vacation!
