Hi Connie, welcome aboard! Our daughters are about the same age, and I'll tell you one thing: Just taking your little girl on the Disney Magic is going to make her birthday the best one ever!
But, you asked about some other ways to add to the magic, and I have some ideas for you! Check out Disney Cruise Line's offerings for
in-stateroom gifts, as they offer many different surprises to be waiting in your stateroom when you arrive. One of my favorites is the Happy Birthday package which includes cascading streamers, a banner, a table centerpiece and a special door magnet. Imagine your daughter's delight when you first open the door to your stateroom and she sees the special decorations celebrating her! On that same page on the website, you can order birthday cakes. These can be delivered to your stateroom or presented at dinner on her birthday.
And speaking of dinner on her birthday, be sure to call Disney Cruise Line and ask them to add a note to your reservation stating that you'll be celebrating the 7th birthday of your little princess. Your dining servers and other Cast Members will see this on your reservation and might surprise her with a Happy Birthday song to make her the star of the dining room at dinner!
Also, I know that little girls that age love to feel pampered. Check out the spa offerings onboard and see if she might like a little special treatment there on the big day. Pretty painted nails make for an even prettier princess! Keep in mind the
Port Adventures as well. Maybe you can find an extra special adventure for your daughter's birthday celebration!
Let me know if I can help with anything else as you continue to plan! Happy cruising!
