Are my daughters ages 10 and 8 able to build a droid together to share with either my husband or myself being the adult accompanying them to build?

    Bright Suns, Lindsay!

A visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is out of this world! I'm so excited to hear that your young padawans want to assemble a custom Astromech Unit! My family loves the Droid Depot at Walt Disney World Resort so much that we've built one for each of us. It's such a fun adventure, and the workshop is stocked with a remarkable collection of parts, chips, and other tech items to create your sidekick!

Lindsay, the answer to your question is entirely at the shop's discretion. I will tell you that after explaining my situation to the attending Cast Member at Droid Depot, I've gotten permission to take both my padawans to experience building a droid together. Most of the time, Cast Members understand and can accommodate younglings, as they love to watch all the activity in the Black Spire Outpost's industrial depot. Please remember that advance reservations for Droid Depot are recommended as it is a highly sought-after experience.

If your party is successful in the mission of building your droid and has also built up an appetite, I recommend you head over to Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo to refuel. You'll need the energy if you run into Kylo Ren!

I wish your party an enchanting and adventurous journey of Jedi mastery, Lindsay!
