My daughter's actual 7th birthday is 7 days past our departure date, during her first week of school. Are the birthday celebration buttons strictly for date of birth, or can we choose a day to celebrate in WDW a little early? Thanks!

    Hi there Kelly!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I honestly believe that the Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place for a birthday celebration. I am happy to report that you can most definitely get your daughter a complimentary birthday celebration button to wear during your vacation. The birthday celebration buttons do not have to be worn on the specific date of birth. In fact, I have done this very same thing for my own children when we vacationed just prior to or after their actual birthday. You can pick up a complimentary celebration button at your Disney Resort hotel or at Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks. Your little princess will love all of the birthday wishes she will receive by Cast Members and other Guests.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have. I hope your daughter has a magical time celebrating her 7th birthday during your upcoming trip, Kelly!

    Happy Celebrating,
    Jodie
