My daughter (3yrs.) and I take several day trips during the year solo as I'm a stay at home mom n season pass. Its always dark when leaving n I'm always worried about being by ourselves. Could we valet park at the boardwalk or downtown and take the bus?

The parking at the Boardwalk is supposed to be for guests of the resort and guests using the Boardwalk facilities. For non-guests, there is generally a limit of about three hours for parking. The parking at Downtown Disney is more open, so you can park there for a much longer time. However, the Downtown Disney valet parking may not start operations until later in the day. Downtown Disney is the better way to go, but neither of these options are ideal.

I can tell you that guest safety is of the utmost concern to Walt Disney World. Wherever you park at Disney, if you are the least bit uncomfortable getting back to your vehicle, please ask for assistance from the security staff at the park. They will be happy to escort you to your car and make sure you get in safely.

Enjoy this special time with your daughter.
