My Daughter is 4 yrs old and is more familiar with the Disney Jr. characters. We are traveling on the Wonder Jan 29th. Any chance she might meet Sophia the First or Doc Mc Stuffins?

    Welcome aboard, Rebecca!

I'm sorry to let you know that currently, Sophia and Doc McStuffins are not currently sailing with Disney Cruise Line. There are a few classic Disney characters that she'll recognize. Besides Mickey and his gang from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, you'll see many princesses onboard. In fact, be sure to take her to the Princess Gathering. Four or five of the princesses with gather in the atrium lobby to meet guests, sign autographs and pose for pictures. You'll wait in one line to meet them all. My daughter adores this event every single time we sail! Be sure to arrive very early (about 45 minutes to an hour ahead) to get a spot toward the front of the line. You might leave her with Dad while you hold a spot in line. I promise you'll be happy you did that when you see how long this line is later on! We like to grab a spot in line and sit down to write postcards while we wait. It's much better than getting in line later and having to inch your way along for an hour!

A couple other Disney Junior characters that she might recognize are Tinkerbell and Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Technically, they're Peter Pan characters, but little ones know them best from Jake and the Neverland Pirates! Check your Personal Navigator each day onboard as it will list all of the character meet n' greet opportunities. We've never waited more than five or ten minutes maximum for any other characters or princesses on their own, so I don't want to scare you off from the character lines!

Finally, stop by Guest Services as soon as you walk onboard, and ask if they are offering the Disney Friends Tea Party. This free event on the Wonder only is on a first come, first served basis, so sign up right away. It's not highly advertised, so you'll need to ask at Guest Services. My daughter loves learning the proper way to take tea with Ariel and Tiana! Such fun!

Stop back if you have other questions before you set sail, Rebecca! I'm happy to help!
