My daughter is 2 years old and will be turning 3 a few days after our disney trip. Do i need to bring birth certificate or anything when we go to enter the park regarding her being 2. will she be able to ride some rides even though under 3 are free? thanks

    Hi Christopher!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. All children under the age of three who visit Walt Disney World Resort are personal Guests of Mickey Mouse and do not require theme park tickets. A Cast Member could ask your daughter's date of birth if you purchase theme park tickets at the parks. However, they will usually be able to tell if a child is younger than three. I know my family has never had any issues when visiting with our children when they were between the ages of two and three.

To answer your question about your daughter enjoying the attractions, as long as she meets any minimum height requirements, she is welcome to ride any attraction within the four theme parks. Also, be sure to check out Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones on DisneyWorld.com. On this page you can discover tips and special offers designed for families with preschoolers.

Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
