My Daughter has to wear an eye patch for several hours during the day to correct a severe vision problem - can she wear it at the parks? When she is wearing it her vision is limited are we able to be seated in front at shows so she can see?

Hi, Teresa!  Your daughter can absolutely wear the eye patch at the theme parks.  There won't be an issue at all for this medically necessary accessory.

The Walt Disney World theme parks are great at accommodating guests with low vision.  My husband sufers from low vision, and whenever we are going into an attraction that has tiered seating, we just mention to the cast member that he has a vision problem, and they will help us find a seat that is closer up to the front, where he can see everything.

I would suggest that you try to plan to do any 3-D attractions for the hours when the patch won't be on her eye.  It's tough to see the 3-D effects of things with only one eye, and while they are certainly watchable if you can't see the effects, they're more fun if you can see them.

    Have a wonderful visit!
