    My daughter wants to plan a trip for 2014 and is curious what dates were free dining offered in 2013. I know the fall is always big for free dining but has it been offered at other times? Thanks for the help!

    Hi Gina! I'm always looking for ways to save money on my Disney vacations too, and getting the Disney Dining Plan for free is a great deal. This year, Disney offered Free Dining on vacation packages booked for many dates between September 2 and December 22.  You're right that the Free Dining special has traditionally been available in the fall. In the past few years, Disney also offered Free Dining for many vacation dates between January and March, but we didn't see that offer return in 2013.

    We never know if the Free Dining promotion will return from year to year, but if your daughter wants to get the best deal on her 2014 Disney vacation, she should keep an eye on the Special Offers page of the Walt Disney World website, where she'll find all the details on Free Dining and other Disney vacation discounts.
