My daughter wants to meet some kids on our cruise.

Welcome aboard, Ashley! It sounds like your family is in the midst of planning your very first sailing with Disney Cruise Line! How exciting! There is truly something for everyone in the family on a cruise with Captain Mickey and his crew!

Your daughter sounds like my kids. Not only do they enjoy sailing with Disney and the amazing youth activities onboard, they also really enjoy getting to meet other children their own ages and making new friends. Your daughter will have plenty of opportunity to do so when she heads into the Youth Clubs to participate in the magical entertainment, events and activities that go on there all day and late into the night.

You didn't mention her age, but no matter how old she is, there is a club for her. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are the spots for ages three to 12. Tweens from 11 - 14 get their own dedicated space called Edge. The older teen crowd from 14-17 have a space of their own for teens only, called Vibe. The spaces are slightly different depending on which of Disney's four pixie-dusted ships, but all of them include hours of endless fun with lots of other kids and some truly special counselors who excel at getting kids to meet and mingle and get involved. And guess what! It's all included in the cost of your cruise!

If you have other questions, Ashley, please stop back and let us know exactly which ship and itinerary and your daughter's age and we'd be happy to give even more details and suggestions about the fun that's in store for her!

    Have fun planning!
