Hi, Amanda! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It sounds like your princess has her priorities in order! An extra special makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique certainly deserves to be followed by an extra special meal. While
Cinderella’s Royal Table and
Be Our Guest Restaurant do tend to be the go-to locations, there are several other options for enjoying a nice sit-down meal at
Magic Kingdom Park.
I asked my 9-year-old what she would recommend, and she said her first option would be the
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. This is a must-do for our family during each of our
Walt Disney World Resort visits, and we typically reserve it for lunch on our final day. With three distinct dining rooms, exquisite decor and a jazz soundtrack reminiscent of the 1940s, the “Skipper Canteen” (as we call it) is one of the most interesting restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park (with one of the
most interesting menus). With linen napkins and glass drinking goblets, you do get a little more of an air of sophistication than you do at some other table service restaurants, too.
If you’d be interested in a Character meal, you might consider
The Crystal Palace. As a buffet, this option is a little different than the brought-to-your-table experience you might find at other table service restaurants, but you’ll also get to visit with Winnie the Pooh and friends during your meal!
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant might be another option for you. With both indoor and outdoor seating (including both booths and tables), a
varied Italian menu, and a fountain depicting Lady and the Tramp, you could enjoy a Bella Notte here as well.
I hope one of these suggestions works out for your princess and her entourage, Amanda! Please let us know if we can offer any additional help or suggestions for your magical vacation.
