    My daughter wants to get an Elsa dress at the BBB when we go in July. Is this dress available and if so, what size do they go up to?

    Hi Michelle,

    I completely understand the fascination with Frozen - I think I sing the soundtrack even more than my young daughters do.

    Right now, it is extremely difficult to find Anna and Elsa costumes. These are so popular that they sell out almost immediately. For that reason, they are not currently part of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offerings. Disney has actually placed limits on the number of Frozen themed merchandise items each guest can purchase right now. This shortage of Anna and Elsa dresses is expected to ease around mid-summer. If you told me that your trip was in September, I'd say that you could almost certainly get an Elsa dress at the BBB, but since you're visiting in July, it's really too difficult to predict. You might get lucky, but you probably shouldn't make any promises to your child.

    You should know that there is no requirement that girls wear costumes actually purchased at Walt Disney World. If you want to ensure that your daughter has an Elsa dress, you could buy one elsewhere and bring it for her to change into at the BBB. There are a number of Etsy.com sellers creating custom Elsa gowns at fairly reasonable prices.

    As for the sizing issue, the Disney princess dresses typically go up to a child XL (14/16) which fits height 59-64 inches and weight 87-115 pounds.
