My daughter and I will be visiting the Magic Kingdom to surprise her best friend in a few days. Her friend has leukemia and doesn't have much time left. She has no idea that we'll be there and I want to surprise her when she sees us in the park. Any ideas?

    Hi Melvina,

What an amazing gift of love and friendship you are giving your daughter and her friend! I will be thinking about you over the next few days as you spend this magical time together.

Without knowing much about your daughter or her BFF, I will give you some general ideas and then you tweak it for them. You could be at the entrance of your daughter's friend's favorite ride and casually "bump" into to her like you would at the mall at home and start the fun this way.

You could wait on Main Street before they arrive, and when you see them, ask them to take your picture. Then grab a cast member to take the official picture.

Does she have a favorite food such as popcorn or ice cream? Again, wait near one of these carts and then offer her a favorite treat.

You could design a matching t-shirt for the girls and have them wear it on the trip.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
