My daughter will be 6-1/2 when we visit for 8 days in Dec. Do you think it is worthwhile to rent a stroller? We haven't used one at home for a long time, but I'm concerned about her getting tired of all the walking. Thanks.

If you're not bringing your own stroller from home, then you really don't have to decide until you get to WDW about renting. I wouldn't mention the stroller option to your daughter. Take her to the parks for the first day or two. If she's fine, then forget about it. If you see that she's dragging, complaining a lot, or slowing the rest of the group down, then you can always go rent a stroller.

Your daughter may end up surprising you with her stamina. Our first stroller-less trip was when our twins were 5 1/2. I was terrified about them whining about walking all day. As it turns out, they never complained at all. At that point, they were so long out of the stroller in the real world that they had forgotten that it was an option.

Just make sure your daughter has comfortable, well-fitting shoes, and comfy socks for your trip, then go out and have a great time touring.
