My daughter is a vegan. I would like to find restaurants that offer vegetarian or vegan menus. They could be in the parks or at the different resort hotels. We will be staying at the Boardwalk Inn for a week. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Dear Ernestine,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about accommodating your daughter who is a vegan on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

My wife is also a vegan so this is something that we take into consideration a great deal on our trips to the Walt Disney World Resort! The great news is that there are a ton of options that will be both nutritious and delicious for vegans!

First of all, any Table-Service restaurant will easily accommodate vegan guests if you simply let your server know. They will let you know the options and many times you can even speak to the chef with questions.

In terms of Quick-Service restaurants, some do have vegan choices and some do not. Are you on social media? There are several Instagram accounts that specialize in the vegan food of Walt Disney World Resort that are great to check out. One of our favorites is the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, which offers a delicious vegetable bowl with customized toppings! Yum!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
