    My daughter turns five the day before we embark on our cruise (the Dream, March 4th). Is it possible to request a birthday cake or cupcake at dinner our first night? And is it possible to have one of the Disney Princesses visit our table? Thanks!

    Your sailing on the Disney Dream is just a few weeks away! The Disney Dream is a spectacular ship, and you will feel the magic as soon as you step aboard on March 4th!  Celebrating a special occasion will make your sailing even more memorable, and  Disney Cruise Line is the best at making this happen at sea!  Go ahead and call a Cruise Reservation Agent at (800) 951-3532 and let them know you have a little princess turning five!   You have two options for a special sweet treat in the dining room on your first night or whichever night your choose.  Your dining server will be happy to bring a complimentary dessert and sing "Happy Birthday" or you can purchase a delicious Celebration Cake.  These cakes can be customized by cake flavor and icing choice ,and can also be personalized with your own special birthday message.  The order form is available online, and cakes must be pre-ordered at least seven days prior to your sailing!  Also, have a look at the in-room Birthday Package.   How magical would it be for your sweet girl to open your stateroom door and see festive birthday decorations just for her?

    The Disney Princesses will be available for several "Meet & Greets" but not in the dining rooms.  If you happen to be dining in the Royal Palace, a Princess or two might stroll through while you are eating.  When my family dined in this fanciful restaurant, we did get Ariel to stop for a quick photo op.

    Also, don't forget to stop by Guest Services to pick up a birthday pin!
