My daughter will be turning four the day before we leave for our Disney Cruise, and I really want to take her to the Royal Court Royal Tea on the Disney Wonder to celebrate. How often during the trip do they offer this event? Is it just once an itinerary?

    Hear ye, hear ye!

planDisney extends a royal welcome to you, Courtney!  I am so excited that you are treating your princess to an adventure on the high seas for her birthday.

Some of my fondest memories of sailing with Captain Mickey are shared with my daughter.  We have created special moments together with Lady Chamomile and the princesses on her birthday and I will never forget the look of pure joy on her face as each of them took time to visit with her during the Royal Court Royal Tea.  I cannot wait for you and your daughter to enjoy this magic together that you will long remember!

This special event is typically offered at least once during most sailings.  There are often two tea parties on cruises that are seven days or longer.  This is a highly popular onboard activity, so be sure to make this reservation as soon as your advance booking window opens.  If you are not able to get a reservation, do not worry!  The clock hasn't struck midnight on your plans!  Simply stop by Guest Services once you are onboard to add yourself to a wait list in the event someone cancels their reservation.  It does happen!  Also, be sure to continue to check up until your cruise in the event seats become available.

To add a little pampering to your daughter's day, consider a royal transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!  This is still one of my daughter's favorite things to do onboard.  She was made over as Cinderella just last year for her 9th birthday!  Try to make an appointment before the tea party to add a little extra magic to her day!

If you haven't already, be sure to let the Fairy Godmothers at Disney Cruise Line know that you will be celebrating your princess's special day while onboard.  You never know what magic they may Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo her way!  Also, I always like to stop by Guest Services and ask for an "I'm celebrating" button for my kids to wear during our cruises and watch for falling pixie dust.

Hop in your coach and join us again at planDisney if you have any additional questions.  We have a ball helping you plan your special vacation, Courtney!

Hope to "sea" you again real soon!  Angie
