    My daughter is turning 3 and we are going to Disney for her birthday. She is obsessed with the Mickey Mouse characters. Is there any dining that could give her a special experience with a cake and Minnie Mouse greeting? Also best events for her age?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort for your daughter's 3rd birthday! I have always found "The Most Magical Place on Earth" to be the perfect vacation destination for a birthday celebration.

    I highly recommend Chef Mickey's, which is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, for your daughter. At this fun Character Dining experience, Guests are greeted by the "Fab 5" while feasting on a yummy all-you-care-to-enjoy meal as the monorail whizzes by overhead. My four kiddos love when the Characters get the Guests to join them in napkin twirling to fun songs. Cakes can be delivered to this dining location; however, I do recommend ordering in advance to ensure availability. I suggest the chocolate Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake for your Mickey fan. Guests may begin booking dining reservations 180 days in advance. You can book a reservation for Chef Mickey's and order your celebration cake at the same time by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. 

    Be sure to visit Magic Kingdom Park which has so many attractions geared for little Mouseketeers. Don't miss Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After, an amazing nighttime fireworks spectacular. Both of these entertainment options are "must do" experiences for my family. Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios is a nighttime musical featuring beloved Disney Characters, live performers, amazing special effects and stars Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, don't miss Kilimanjaro Safaris and Festival of the Lion King.
