    My daughter will turn three on the second day of our August trip. We'll be attending MNSSHP on her actual birthday. Does she need an event ticket for this?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so pleased that you brought your vacation question here and I am more than happy to help. What a magical way to celebrate your daughter’s 3rd birthday! She is going to have so much fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There are Characters dressed up in fun Halloween costumes, the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular, and Trick-or-Treating throughout the park. You can even find some special enhancements on some of the most popular attractions during the party. It really is my favorite event at Magic Kingdom Park. 

    When booking a stay or purchasing theme park tickets at Walt Disney World, the age of the child is determined by the age upon check-in or arrival. This means that although you are celebrating her 3rd birthday during your vacation, the policies for children under the age of 3 will still apply to her, so there will be no need to purchase her a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
