my16 y/o daughter is trying to plan a trip with her friends to go down for her sweet sixteen, does anyone know I would have to go with her? we are DVC members I just don't know if i would have to go with her or her and her friends could by themselves

    Welcome Home,

As a mom of two DisneyKids myself, I can only hope that they wish for a Walt Disney World Resort Sweet 16 celebration.

For better or worse, every Walt Disney World Resort hotel room or Disney Vacation Club Resort Deluxe Villa does require a Guest over the age of 18 on the reservation. Also, a valid credit card in the name of a Guest must be added to the file at check-in to cover any incidentals.

Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks only require that Guests reach 14-years old to explore by themselves. So perhaps you could travel down with your daughter and her friends, and you could each have some time to independently discover all of the exciting new offerings throughout the property.

Also, don't forget to have your daughter pick up a celebration button!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally

Meet the Panelist: Sally, Texas

"To all who come to this happy place, welcome." I am the lucky wife to my brave Prince and a stay-at-home mom to two bold and brilliant little girls; one a Jedi Padawan and the other a Princess. Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
