    My daughter is traveling with her school to Disney in April for a band trip. I wondered if she would be able to use her magic band from our last trip even though the group is not using them?

    Hi Danielle,

    Your daughter is going to have a blast at Walt Disney World on her upcoming trip!

    I actually use my favorite, purple, MagicBand for all of my Walt Disney World Resort Vacations. Your daughter should be able to use her existing MagicBand as long as it is still active in her My Disney Experience account.

    Keep in mind that in order to use her MagicBand to unlock her Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room door, her upcoming Resort reservation must also be linked to her My Disney Experience account. Upon check-in, a friendly Cast Member can verify that her MagicBand is still active and linked properly.
