My daughter will be 8 1/2 when we travel this summer. She is very tall (like her 6'5 Daddy) and the size of an 11 yr old. Should I bring her birth certificate with me to prove her age since she is still a child price on our package and dining plan?

Hi, Johnna!  As a mom with a 7 year old daughter who falls in the 110 percentile for height, I know your concerns!  I always travel with some form of ID for my daughter - usually a passport or copy of her birth certificate - just in case I ever run into a question.  So far, I have not at Walt Disney World.  I actually did have one cast member one time ask me if she was under nine, and I just replied that she was and they left it at that.

I say have it with you, but you will likely not need it.  And just bring a copy as opposed to an original document.  You don't want to risk losing her original birth certificate.

    Have a great trip!
