My daughter 8 yo - is a tink fanatic. Besides possibly BBB, could anyone recommend anything special that I can do for her while at WDW that would provide any experience with Tink? Will be there early Dec. Thanks so much!

    Hi Julie,

There are several things in the Magic Kingdom that I know your Tinker Bell fan will adore!

The first is very popular, so don't tell your daughter about it just incase it doesn't work out, but the first lucky person to visit the Tinker Bell's Treasures shop in Fantasyland gets to wake up Tink by waving a wand if they ask. You can find the shop on the left just as you pass through the Castle, you will need to get to the parks for rope drop (opening) and try and be the first into the shop for a chance of waking her!

The second is that Disney now has a designated area where you can meet and greet Tinker Bell and some of her fairy friends, you can find this is in the Toontown Hall Of Fame Tent. This is a relatively new attraction and is very popular so I would recommend you arrive in Toontown early in the day, preferably at opening, for the shortest waits. Don't forget your autograph books and cameras for this special meet!

Lastly Tink sometimes flies from the Castle during the fireworks show Wishes. For the best view of her flying find a spot on the bridge to Tomorrowland. If you look towards the Castle you'll see the wire that she flies on so choose a spot right underneath for a spectacular view!

I hope that's given you a few ideas and your daughter has a fabulous trip,

    Jo
