Ahoy, Michelle!
Thank you for visiting us hEAR again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so glad we can be a part of your planning process for your upcoming
Disney Cruise Line sailing.
There are a lot of things to consider when selecting
Port Adventures to experience with your family. For instance, my family only likes to be off the ship for a few hours at a time, so all-day excursions are the ones I can eliminate first. I also always try to find something that is very active and engaging that fits within our budget. Speaking of budget, I know excursions can be expensive, so I understand your concern about your daughter changing her mind at the last minute. Disney Cruise Line does have a
cancellation policy for Port Adventures, which requires you to cancel three days before your cruise departure date. If your daughter decides not to participate once on the adventure, the charge will still apply. My advice is to watch as many videos of ziplining as possible before you leave. My family has ziplined on two of our sailings, and it was a huge hit both times. My son was only 10 the first time, and he loved every exhilarating minute. I was a little nervous about the heights of the zips, but I think what made it so doable was the excellent guides we had both times. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and of course, made it so much fun! They all had a lot of energy, which we fed off of each time we took our turn.
Michelle, I hope this helps! If you need any other questions answered, please let us know.
