My Daughter is thinking of going to Aulani with the family and 1 friend for her sweet 16. We are not DVC Member so when can we book (aug19) and what are some fun things to do for 16 year old.

    Hey there, Christine!

How exciting to get to enjoy the tropical island paradise that is Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa. As a non-Disney Vacation Club member, you can book up to 499 days in advance of your travel dates. There is a little bit of wiggle room in this time frame, but this is when the booking window should generally be opening up to guests not using Disney Vacation Club points.

Aside from the absolutely gorgeous beach and incredible Aulani pools, there are activities for every age. There is live entertainment and pool parties that occur, and if your daughter would be interested in a glimpse into Hawaiian culture and history, you may want to book the Ka Wa'a - A Lu'au at Aulani

There are boogie boards available for the use of resort guests, and you can rent paddle boards and snorkel equipmentRainbow Reef gets you up close and personal with some of the most gorgeous tropical fish.

You'll also find lots to do in O'ahu itself, and there are excursions you can book through Aulani for things like dolphin encounters and catamaran sailing. There's even ukelele lessons at the resort!

Have a great time planning this awesome birthday adventure. I hope you all have a wonderful time.
