Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest; Animal Kingdom

    My daughter is super into animals... but she isn't in to any of the traditional Disney stuff.... what attractions/events should I make sure are on our list?

    If your daughter is looking for animals, Walt Disney World Resort has an incredible experience waiting for her at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

    One of my family's favorite things to do at Animal Kingdom is to get there early to enjoy a ride through Kilimanjaro Safaris. It is so exciting to catch rhinos, giraffes, lions and more from inside an open air jeep. One year, we splurged and took the family on a Wild Africa Trek. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us. Plus, we learned even more about the conservation efforts that are a natural part of the park and the Cast Members.

    Another super fun animal experience for your daughter is earning badges as a Wilderness Explorer. My kids are one badge away from completing the entire explorer book. Earning badges can easily take more than one day.

    I think your daughter will also love seeing two excellent shows at Animal Kingdom, Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical.

    There are so many great ways for kids of all interests to enjoy Walt Disney World. I hope you have great adventures during your visit.
