My daughter and I are staying at the Wilderness lodge in Jan. We will be going to animal kingdom first since we can't register at the hotel until 3pm. will I have to pay for parking at both places that first day?

Hi Amy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Has your countdown started yet? Before you know it, you and your daughter will be enjoying a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

You won’t have to worry about paying for parking during your visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, because your Disney Resort hotel benefits begin first thing in the morning, on your check-in day! My family and I have visited a theme park before check-in at our Disney Resort hotel many times. All you have to do is tell the Cast Member at the parking entrance where you are staying. They will ask you to tap your MagicBand or admission card to a Mickey sensor and you will be on your way!

Amy, you can also leave your bags will bell services at your resort before you begin your adventures at the park. Cast Members will deliver the bags to your room when it becomes available. So convenient!

I hope you’ll take some time to explore Pandora- World of Avatar during your visit! The sights and smells of the Valley of Mo’ara are incredible! Satu’li Canteen is a delicious quick service option for you if you’ve worked up at appetite during your travels. Try the blueberry cream cheese mousse for dessert, it’s out of this world!

Stop back to see us if you have any more questions. Helping you with the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
