My daughter sleeps best when there is music playing. Is there a CD player that we can rent for the week? I don't want to have to pack mine.

    Hi Brian,

Unfortunately Disney does not offer any CD player rental services. I ran a Google search as was able to find a company called that does rent CD players in the Orlando area for about $20 per week. However, I have never used this organization and can't vouch for its reliability.

As an alternative, I looked on and found several slim, Walkman-style CD players for sale in the $10 to $20 range. If you didn't want your daughter to use headphones for sleeping, there are also many small, portable speaker systems for sale on Amazon for $5 to $10 each. I'm sure that you could find similar items at your local discount store, Walmart, or Target. Together, the CD player and speakers would likely weigh less than, and take up about as much space as, a hardcover book.

You could also buy or borrow an ipod with your daughter's favorite music and set it up with small portable speakers. This would take up negligible space in your luggage.

    Good luck with your planning.
