Hey there, Daniele!
Thanks so much for stopping by to see us here at planDisney!
I have a five-year-old, and we will be visiting for his 6th birthday and I would love to share some of my insights about planning a trip for that age.
I recommend that you start by figuring out where you are going to stay. You will find no shortage of amazing
Disney hotels to stay at for every budget. While my personal favorite hotel at Christmas is
Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I know that any little girl will absolutely love the larger-than-life statues at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. If you are looking for the royal treatment for your little princess, check out the Royal Rooms at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.
Once you have selected your resort, you can then add your theme park tickets. If this is your first visit, I do not think that you need to add the
Park Hopper Option, simply because there is so much to see and do in each park.
Once you added your tickets to your accommodations, you have created a vacation package. This vacation package allows you to put as little as $200 down on your trip and pay the rest over time. Your final balance will be due 30-days before your check-in date.
Now that you have your package booked, all you have left to do is to book your
Disney Park Pass system reservations and make your
dining reservations. Dining reservations can be booked 60-days before you arrive but your Disney Park Pass system reservations can be made as soon as you have your confirmation number linked to your
My Disney Experience Account.
Daniele, Christmas will be such an amazing time to visit. Not only will your little princess get to experience the magic of Disney, but she will also get to experience the magic of the Holidays as well! Most importantly, your little girl will get to see Santa, experience snow in Florida, and make some cherished memories with her family.
If you need answers to any questions, you can always come back here! We love to hEAR from you!
Happy planning!
