My daughter is severely allergic to peanuts & needs to have her epi-pen with her at all times. Will this be allowed in the parks & do we need to do anything special to be able to take this with us? Knowing in advance will really help ease my mind!

    Hi Matthew!

No worries! Your daughter will have no trouble taking her Epi-pen with her at the Disney Parks. There will not be any documentation needed to carry your epi-pen.

If you are making reservations for table service restaurants, be sure to mention your daughter's nut allergy when making the reservation (via phone or online) and to mention it again once you check-in at the restaurant (although Disney is VERY good about this - they mention it to you first!). Most times, you'll be informed of the nut-free options or a Disney chef may even come and speak to you personally. I hope you'll find that Disney restaurants are among the most accommodating you've ever eaten at! At buffets, be sure to ask which dishes are nut-free as well. At times, chefs at the buffets will even prepare a special dish for her - just ask!

At counter service restaurants, be sure to mention the allergy and ask for the nut-free options there as well.

Hope you have a great trip free of worry!
