My daughter is going on a school trip to disney world. I have her in my account with her magic band and park ticket linked to it. Is there a way for her to download the app and have the account I have for her linked to her new account?

Hi, John, and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your daughter is heading to Walt Disney World Resort soon. I want to sign up for her school! It sounds like you need technical support to help her enjoy the magic, so let's talk about some steps you can take.

I chatted with a tech-loving Cast Member named Bryson, who said that to merge her account to a new one she manages, you'll need to call the My Disney Experience support line at (407) 934-7639. When prompted to share the reason for your call, say, "My Disney Experience." Someone over 18 must make the call, and Cast Members are available from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST daily.

My tip is to set up a My Disney Experience account online for your young princess before you call and link it to a valid email address she can access. Once her account is active, go ahead and call tech support, keeping both emails associated with your accounts handy. Remember, guests must be 13 or older to have an account; if your daughter is under 13, I suggest you call tech support for their suggestions.

I hope your daughter has time to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The character topiaries make for fabulous photos, and the delicious small plates at the Outdoor Kitchens will fit any budget. I can't wait to visit next month and try the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob at EPCOT Farmers Feast.

John, I'm sprinkling pixie dust all around so you can set up your daughter for a magical visit this week. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
