My daughter and I are sailing to Alaska this summer on the Disney Wonder. I understand there is storage space for luggage under the bed but I'm concerned our suitcase won't fit. How high is this space?

Welcome aboard, Christine! That sailing to Alaska is going to be such a memorable trip for your daughter and you! I'm thrilled that you'll be able to experience such a magical vacation with Disney Cruise Line!

There is ample storage space under the beds on all four ships. On the Wonder, the bed frame is elevated to 8 and 3/4 inches, providing a decent space for luggage. We've found that sometimes we still have to lift the foot of the bed in order to slide our hard-sided suitcases (taller than 9 inches) under the bed frame. Then, once they clear the actual frame, they fit under quite nicely as the frame itself is lower than the actual space under the bed.

I hope that helps ease your mind about luggage storage, Christine. If for some reason your suitcase doesn't fit under there, there is extra storage space in the closet, or even extra spots to stand a case up on it's own out of the way. We usually have four of us in one room, with many suitcases and have always found a spot for each, so I am sure you won't have a problem at all!

Let me know how else I can help as you continue to plan your magical Northern sailing, Christine!
