    My daughter is running the marathon in January. It said something about host resorts for transportation. We are DVC members and are wondering if we can all stay together at a DVC resort

    You must be so proud of your daughter for her hard work to complete the Walt Disney World Marathon! Crossing that finish line remains one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort memories, and I'm sure she will cherish it as well. 

    A Host Resort for a runDisney Race Weekend is one which provides complimentary and convenient transportation to and from the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo as well as the starting lines and popular viewing areas along the course. It is always recommended that a runner and his or her ChEAR Squad take advantage of these Resort hotel amenities for a seamless weekend. Luckily, all Walt Disney World Resort hotels, including all Disney Vacation Club Resorts located on property, are Host Resorts for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! So choose your favorite location and have the time of your lives.

    Moms Tip: I always recommend that athletes stay in a 1-, 2-, or 3-Bedroom Villa whenever possible during a runDisney race-cation. Access to the luxurious jetted tub found in a Disney Vacation Club Resort master bathroom is particularly appreciated after testing limits and pushing boundaries on a magical race course. Indulge in this relaxing experience before shaking out tired muscles by exploring the theme parks for an experience not found anywhere else. Of course, don't forget to wear that finisher medal with pride!
