My daughter is registered for 100 m dash kids race during Princess weekend. She will be 14 months at the time of the race so I had to register her for 100 m dash instead of the diaper dash. She isn't walking. Will this be a problem for her during race?

    Hi Yolanda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am in the exact same situation as you! My little one is signed up for the Kids Races during Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend and he will be 14 months old at the time and I'm not sure he'll be walking either.

I'm happy to tell you that your little princess will still get the royal treatment during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend! The Kids Races are organized in very small groups that are released minutes apart for optimal safety. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children as well, so you will be able to be by her side. Whether she chooses to crawl part of the way, have Mommy hold her hands as she toddles along or if she just isn't feeling it that morning, she can have you carry her to the finish line!

Either way she will proudly be able to wear her Finisher Medallion and you'll have the wonderful memories of her first runDisney race! I hope you both have a magical time and please let us know if you need any more help.
