    My daughter would really love to dine with Ariel. Are there any character dinning experiences which feature The Little Mermaid?

    Hi, Christy!  I know that this will not be the answer you are looking for, but it does offer some hope.  Currently, Ariel SOMETIMES appears at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for the Princess Storybook Dining.  This location in the Norway pavilion in Epcot has character dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but the characters are subject to change.  We have been to this restaurant when Ariel was in attendance and when she was not.  There is no way to guarantee in advance which characters will greet you.  My suggestion would be to book the meal, but not mention Ariel to your daughter.  Then, if she doesn't show up, there will be no lost expectations.  If she does show up, there will just be pure, delighted surprise.  Sending you pixie-dusted wishes that Ariel is on land the day you dine.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
