Hello Amy!
We're glad to see you back at planDisney. I'm happy to help as your daughter prepares to visit Walt Disney World Resort next spring.
As you likely already know,
Disability Access Service (DAS) is available for guests who cannot wait in a traditional queue due to a disability. The DAS approval process changed earlier this year and must now be completed
online via a video chat. This can be completed up to 30 days in advance of your visit. Once approved, eligible guests can begin requesting return times via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App once they have entered the park. Return times obtained through the app will be comparable to the current standby wait at that particular attraction, and
eligible guests may only hold one return time at a time.
At this time, eligible guests may experience these attractions with up to 3 additional guests, for a total party size of 4. Your daughter should have no problem including her friends in those plans as long as everyone is connected via the
Family & Friends list. It's my understanding that she will be able to pick which members to include when requesting return times for each individual attraction.
At this time,
DAS is valid for the length of ticket or up to 240 days, whichever comes first. If your daughter is an Annual Passholder she may already be approved through her travel date. If she was approved with a standard theme park ticket for another date, she may need to re-register as her March trip nears.
I hope this was helpful, Amy. If we can answer any further questions please write us again. Wishing you all a magical visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
