Hi there, Catherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Catherine, I am sure that you are ready to make some magical memories with your newest grandbaby. I took my daughter when she was around three months old, and our pictures are some that I will cherish forever. I fully believe that our Walt Disney World Resort vacation helped us transition to a new family of four.
Catherine, when you are looking at
booking dining reservations, you will want to make them for everyone in your party including the infant. This is because the restaurant capacity is based on the fire code, so even if a little one does not need a seat, they will need to be included in the head count. When my little girl was that age, she was not able to sit in a high chair yet, so we brought her car seat along as a safe place for her to play or nap while we ate.
While we are talking about babies, have you heard about the
Baby Care Centers? Located in each park, these air-conditioned havens offer private nursing and pumping rooms, bottle warmers, and some great oversized sanitary changing tables, in addition to a shop with everything the littlest Mouseketeers may need. If you have other grandchildren coming with you, the Baby Care centers also have a TV playing some Disney classics where older kids can rest and recharge.
I just know you will have a wonderful time, Catherine, and congratulations on your family's newest addition! Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical family vacation.
See you real soon!
