My daughter an I have planned a trip for April. I have made dining reservations for 4 days out of the 5 we are there. What is an average amount to expect to pay for gratuities? We also have the Dining Package with a table service meal everyday.

    Hello Terri,

Your spring trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is almost here.  The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to budget your meals during your vacation and allows you the flexibility to dine around the World.  While you will not be paying cash for your meals, your receipt will show the full cost and the standard gratuity is 15% to 18% of your total, which is standard for any restaurant service.  If you'd like to estimate your gratuities, you may visit Dining, select your restaurant, note the average price per person and add 15%.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  We'd love to help if you should have any more vacation planning questions.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
