Hi Erin!
How exciting that your daughter will be marching down Main Street, U.S.A. with her high school! My son’s high school marching band was able to do this just last fall, and it was a parenting highlight for me. I too marched through the
Magic Kingdom as a teen, so seeing my son get to have that same magical experience was a thrill. I may have even gotten a little misty.
Currently, the
Disney Dining Plan must be purchased as part of a vacation package that includes a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and theme park tickets. While there are exceptions for
Annual Passholders,
Disney Vacation Club Members and those with special military packages, if you are purchasing tickets through the school trip, you would not be eligible to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.
If you are still interested in the Disney Dining Plan, be sure to keep an eye on the
Special Offers Page this fall. If a discounted package becomes available for your dates, you may make up on a room discount, what you were going to save on tickets, and then you would also be able to add the Disney Dining Plan.
I hope your daughter and her school group have an amazing visit and performance at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions as the trip approaches, I’d be happy to help you!
Have a Magical Day!
