Aloha, Jennifer! What can I say except you're welcome ... here at planDisney! I'm so glad that you sailed over to ask such a great planning question.
Eeek! In just days, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your family's most magical adventure. How exciting! Like the line where the sky meets the sea calls Moana, the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort calls you, and I'm thrilled to see that you're answering the call. We are also huge Moana, Pua and Hei Hei fans in my household, so I am more than happy to help your little one catch a glimpse of her favorite little sidekick.
Unfortunately, at this time, there is no Pua or Moana meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World Resort. But don't fret, Jennifer! Your Pua-loving daughter will have plenty of opportunities to see this precious little pig while she is playing in the parks. This summer, Disney Parks Blog listed some awesome
Moana-inspired Photo Ops Around Disney World, and while I am not certain if all of these opportunities are still being offered currently, the last time my family and I were at Walt Disney World, the complimentary portrait session at
Sir Mickey's (next to Cinderella Castle) was available and was oh-so-cute and fun. Your little one can even take her photo with a little Pua stuffed animal, and she is sure to love it!
Speaking of stuffed animals, there is no shortage of Pua stuffies around the parks and resorts! The last time I was shopping at the
Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park, I spotted small Pua stuffies, giant Pua stuffies, baby Puas, sleeping Puas, and even weighted stuffed Puas. Your little one is sure to find the perfect Pua to snuggle!
One more thing, Jennifer! Make sure you don't miss
Disney Enchantment, the incredible nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom, and grab a spot where your daughter will be able to see the projections on Cinderella Castle. She might just see Moana's adorable little sidekick sailing on the back of Moana's canoe!
While this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Jennifer, I hope it was at least helpful! And I hope you and your daughter (and whichever Pua stuffed animal she falls in love with) have the most magical and memorable vacation. Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
We know the way,
Mandy
