    My daughter has been obsessed with the Lion King ever since the new movie came out. Are there any Lion King things to buy especially in Animal Kingdom and where can you meet the characters??

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michele!

    Hakuna Matata!  Walt Disney World and Disney's Animal Kingdom Park offer so much for your Lion King lover.  I am excited for you to visit and watch your daughter's face light up as she sees the magic of her favorite movie unfold in front of her!

    Don't miss the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party at Animal Kingdom on the Discovery Island stage.  Your little one can dance along with Timon, Rafiki and more of your favorite Disney pals!  While you are visiting Discovery Island, complete the circle of life by adding some Lion King merchandise and maybe even a stuffed Simba or Nala to your family at the Discovery Trading Company.  I have found a lot of Lion King items here in the past, many of the items unique to the parks!

    While visiting Animal Kingdom Park, do NOT miss the Festival of the Lion King.  Your daughter will feel the love the night you enjoy this show!  The performers laugh in the face of danger and entertain you with fire dancers, acrobatics and more during this stage show.  For the best seating, I would recommend considering a signature dining package that includes a meal and VIP seating at this show.
