Hi, our daughter will not quite be 3 when we cruise. I've heard about open houses for the kids clubs where the parents can stay. How often are these (eg daily)on the wonder and for how long? Also what are some other activities she can enjoy?

    Hi Amanda! Welcome aboard!

There is so much for your daughter to enjoy on a Disney cruise! The Open House hours in both the Oceaneer's Club and Oceaneer's Lab are great opportunities for you to join her in these fun spaces for some amazing activities. Sometimes you'll be participating in Ratatouille Cooking School, making chocolate chip cookies together. Other times, you might be getting messy in the Lab concocting some Flubber with the Mad Scientist! Belle might stop in for Story Time, or it might be time to Do-Si-Do with Snow White!

Check your Personal Navigator each day for that day's Open House hours. They vary from cruise to cruise, but you can expect that at least one of the Youth spaces will host about 4 hours of Open House each day. This could be in the morning, afternoon or evening, it just depends on the day.

Besides the Youth Clubs, you will have a blast with your daughter all around the ship during other family programming activities. She will probably love Toddler Time and "Wake Up with Disney Junior" in the Promenade Lounge on most sea day mornings. There are princess crafts for families, paper airplane making, and of course, every little girl's favorite: The Princess Gathering.

Five or six of Disney's princesses come together at least once, but usually twice on the sailings of five nights or longer, for the Princess Gathering in the atrium. It's a great time for your little girl to wear her princess costume and get photos with each princess. There is always a long wait, so be sure to arrive early to line up, and don't forget your autograph book and camera!

Have fun as you continue to plan this special vacation for your little princess, Amanda!
