My daughter is not into princesses or the traditional/older characters such as Mickey. I don't imagine she will be excited to see them. What other movies/characters should I introduce her to before we go? What other characters will she experience?

    Hi, Kerry!
I'm happy to say princesses and Mickey Mouse are not the only characters you can meet during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

In all of the four parks, there can be unannounced character visits throughout the day. I know I have bumped into Mary Poppins a number of times in Magic Kingdom Park. I had a similar experience with Alice from Alice in Wonderland in Epcot.

Be sure to grab a Times Guide from a Cast Member when you walk into a park to see the schedule for some characters who can meet and greet you.

If your daughter is interested in animals, you might want to reserve time with Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace. Or she can meet Chip and Dale at The Garden Grill. You might also like meeting Lilo and Stitch for breakfast at 'Ohana.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can enjoy meeting characters from the movie, Toy Story and the Disney Channel show, Phineas and Ferb. Plus, there's a really fun Star Wars meet and greet experience at the Star Wars Launch Bay.

I know you're going to find all kinds of fun experiences during your trip. I'm happy to answer any other questions that come up before you arrive.
