Hi Gita!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your upcoming first visit! Celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort is truly magical. I am sure your daughter's birthday will be. First, I would like to share with you that all children under the age of three who visit Walt Disney World are personal Guests of Mickey Mouse, and do not need a theme park ticket. That's right; your daughter can visit any of the four theme parks for free.
Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite park to visit with little ones. I would suggest spending an entire day, or even two, visiting. With the recent expansion of
New Fantasyland, the Magic Kingdom has more to offer than ever before. Look for Mickey and Minnie in a hot-air balloon float in the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Be sure to take time to meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater!
My wife and I have taken our children to Walt Disney World as infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. They have been able to enjoy the parks at various stages of their lives, and we've had wonderful experiences at each stage. For more advice, visit the
Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page on DisneyWorld.com. Here you can discover tips and special offers designed for families with little ones. There is also a
Preschool Parent's Guide to Walt Disney World Resort that you can download.
Please
let me know if you have any follow-up questions about planning your visit to Walt Disney World. I enjoy helping families plan their magical vacations with little ones.
Have a magical day!
Bob
