If your daughter loves Moana (who doesn’t?!), I have wonderful news! You can absolutely meet her at EPCOT, right near
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, and yes, she appears at predictable times throughout the day! No need to venture all the way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom (or across the ocean) to find her.
Moana has made her home just to the side of the attraction entrance, in a lush, beautifully themed space where the spirit of Te Fiti shines through. It’s one of the most immersive and heartwarming meet-and-greets in all of
Walt Disney World Resort, and it’s a must-do for any fan of the beloved voyager.
To check her exact appearance times, all you need is your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Once you’re in the app, tap on the map icon at the bottom of the screen. From there, select the filter at the top and choose “Characters”. You can either browse the list or zoom in on EPCOT, and you’ll see Moana’s location along with the posted times she’s scheduled to appear.
I always recommend arriving a little early if your daughter is set on seeing her. It’s a popular spot, and Moana loves taking time with each of her Guests! And just a little tip: the Cast Members nearby are always happy to let you know the best times to return or how long the current wait might be.
