My daughter loves MK so we will be going back again this year. I also want to show her other parks during the same day. Is a park hopper a good idea? If so, what's the best and fastest transportation to see multiple parks in one day?

    Trisha,

The Park Hopper option certainly is a good way to get to see more parks in fewer days.

I find that pairing time at Epcot and Hollywood Studios is great, because all you need to do is take the very convenient boat that connects them. It goes from the International Gateway at Epcot (pinned in between the France and England pavilions), by way of the BoardWalk and Epcot area resorts, to the front door of the Hollywood Studios. The ride is relaxing, scenic, and so very convenient.

With Animal Kingdom everything is going to be riding the bus. But in most cases you can take a bus to a resort adjacent to a park, so as to avoid going through Downtown Disney to change buses. As an example, the Contemporary is just a walk away from the front gate of the Magic Kingdom, and the Beach Club is a walk away from Epcot, and that aforementioned boat ride away from Hollywood Studios.

Finally, the obvious one is the monorail connection between Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. While you have to change monorails at the Ticket and Transportation Center, the route is still a typically easy and fast one.

So yes, most always the Park Hopper option is a good one. Transportation between parks can be fairly easy, if you plan ahead. But don't try to do too many parks in one day with a younger child, as that can be exhausting! Just make sure you know how you want to plan your days, and you should be able to show her a whole new side (or sides!) of Walt Disney World!

    Have a magical vacation!
